Unhappy My poor puppy

Today my H and I were getting ready to take him to a rehab treatment meeting and me to a job we couldn't find the dog so we called her and she came running out and she hit something sharp and cut a gash on herself over a footlong!!! We rushed her to the vet and he said she is going to be alright it's a very superficial cut just very long...

Oh Angie lou is beautiful Splendra. I hope she feels better soon.

I have a kitten who is 5 months old now and he is so wild I am surprised he hasn't hurt himself yet!

Yeah... I caught that too, BW. I am glad Angilou is ok - but hey, I think the rehab sounds like a plus, too!

Lisa...

I am praying for you... and your guy...
Praying that the Creator slams that boy's head upside the cosmic wall a couple times to twock some sense into it...

... or...

he could just touch him with his finger... ;o)

I prefer the head against the cosmic wall myself... just cause he's caused you so much pain...

But yes...
detachment is good for it's own sake.

Ahh, Splendra, poor puppy. Even though I am a cat lover, I can't stand to see any animal hurt, especially pets of nice people like you. Toby sends big hugs for the "boo boo" and hopes he gets better soon.

Good news about hubby. I'm saying a prayer for him too. We just never know when it's gonna kick in, and let's hope that his ears and heart are open.

Hugs
Ann

Oh, (((Splendra)))
I know it's hard when our pets are hurt...It's kinda like when our kids are hurt. We feel for them and want to make it all better.
AngieLou will be ok. Listen to the vet.

I am happy your H is at least talking about trying. Every time they go, they get something out of it. Prayers that this is his time...

Shalom!

Ahhh, I'm sorry sweetie. Maybe it's a sign that your H has an open wound that needs to be heeled as well. They will be healing together.

I am glad she's okay though. My animals are my world so I know how it is when they get hurt.... It's the worst..... But as long as she's okay, then that's what counts.

Hang in there sweetie.

(((done))) I like what you said!!

(((emily))) (((bikewench))) pulled up her picture and it is on her first post on this thread. See it?

She looks really strange she has to wear one of those victorian collars and has her whole right side shaved and stiched 150 stiches the cut is 16" long. I'll try to post a picture later. 1/4 inch more and I could have lost her...the vet said she is a very lucky girl...and don't even ask me about the bill!!!

OH MY!! 150!! (((((((HUGS FOR YOUR PUPPY!!))))) THAT BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES!

Wow, I am so glad she's okay........ You should look into getting pet insurance for her after this. I have it and it's a life saver, well I have had it, I owe them money for the new year, but it's cheap pretty much. One year will cost you less than most vet visits.
Especially at a time like this.
I use petinsurance.com They are great, either your vet can bill them or you pay for it and send them the invoice and they reimburse you, usually it's all done within a week.

(((((One more hug, gentle hug for that baby!!))))

Ahhh ((((Splendra)))) Thank You!! I just sent you a pm back about signs, And one that didn't come to me when it happened but much
later. During the time of my baby being almost gone, I was so upset
and just couldn't understand any of it, ESP. since it was MY FAULT!

On top of I had just lost one of my babies and I got her because of that.
But I know why, it all just makes so much sense to me.

It all seems so coincidental with what's going on with you. There are so many things to look at, maybe it's telling you that you can't see your H's pain, so you are going to be forced to look at it and be gentle with it, or maybe it's to take your mind off of the bad stuff and just enjoy the miracle of life..... etc.

There's so much insight here. :-) I was thinking about all of it last night.
I do that with my mom too, lol, when something bad happens I have to find a reason for it.
I think I drive her crazy, but if we don't look deeper it never moves us forward I think. It keeps us stuck.

Anyway, all three of you are on my mind, and I'm sending good thoughts your way.

Oh yea, when my babies are sick, I always feel like they need extra nutrients, it's what has actually saved them a few times.
My mom taught me this trick.

Get beef hearts and beef liver, and boil them for a bit, then cut them up.
Those have more vitamins and nutrients than any other thing.

Although, it thoroughly groses me out to no end when I do it, but the look on their face when I'm cooking it, is sooo cute...

See didn't I tell you I could talk about our animals foreverrrrr. lol

Keep us updated.
