Computer question - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

I am trying to post in a thread and when I hit either submit or preview, I get a pop-up that says "the document contains no data".

I have cleared the cache and cookies, tried both Firefox and IE, and even rebooted.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Funny that I can make a new thread here but I can neither reply or make a new thread at "What is Recovery?".

To add more information: When this first happened, I typed out my reply, hit submit, and got an "invalid page" message. So I backed up, Cut & Pasted my post into Word (because it was fairly long and I wanted it save), and tried to submit it again which is when I started getting the "document has no data" pop-up.

I just wanted to clarify it some.

go to macromedia.com and reload your flash player, are pop ups blocked on your pc?, is java istalled and working properly?

Grim, have you run any spyware on your hard drive?

I am on my work computer now so I have no admin rights to mess with the software.

As near as I can figure out, it may be the underline tags that are causing an issue.

Edit: I meant the italics tags. But it still doesn't make sense.

I had to retype the whole post (in What is Recovery?) before it finally took.

It may have just been a cache issue with your work computer.
