I just don't understand llife sometimes. When I think about or read stuff like that, I just think thank god he/she is in heaven. A better place. I hate to think it, but him dying seems better than going through a life of abuse or foster care. I read the series "A Child Called It" and it threw me into a tailspin for weeks. I don't get why some parents love is so strong is almost an obsession. My mom loves me like that, my biological dad couldn't give a damn about me. What makes people love or not. When my first dog died I found out it could have been from inbreeding. The breeder had been in jail for it before. It took everything I had to not go do something to him that I would have paid for dearly. It killed me to watch my dog suffer. I don't understand the horror in this world. sorry I know I didn't make you feel any better. I just get riled when I see stuff like that, it gets me thinking.... I hope she gets hers...... I hope her and the grandmother do. $10,000 wtf is that all about.

Dear Captain, I can't read the article but I get the idea. Yes, there is a God. Humans did this.

I got the book "The Problem of Pain" by CS Lewis for Christmas. My dad says that's the one I need to read because things like this just tear pieces out of me and make me wonder about God; what I think about fellow humans is also subject to attacks of disbelief. I don't know what is what, in terms of the whole scale of being... but I really hope that he is somewhere better. The thought of doing that to a living person, to a baby - it's sickening. All we can do is the best we can do - and I think we are bound to that. In an active way. If you are good, act. Act!
