Well I went 'n done it myself! Some of you read my thread "The men in my son's life", so you'll know what I'm talking about. I took my boy deer hunting today. Darn it was scary climbing up in the 3' square tree stand (home-made). We saw a doe, but it was just out of range. Even though I don't know anything about hunting and my son had never been on a deer hunt, I was determined to give him his chance. He earned it. So perhaps the men in my family will or won't do anything differently in the future, but momma's gonna make sure that boy hunts! Yeah, I Feel macho!

Way to Go!! Good for you.

I admire your courage and "Moxie" for going out and doing something you've never done before to give your son the experience. Keep it up. It'll leave him with some wonderful memories of growing up with momma.
