YUP! Getting close now...time to put the old year to rest and bring in/ring in the new.

Plan on sitting home with my son, homemade pizza, pickled herring for luck, toast with apple juice, and watch the ball drop. Exciting, no!?! But safe!?!

ps I was planning on going to an AA dance, but it is far too hot , and no cool change comming, so will be home too, watching new years concert

Herring is fish, and it's in a jar...pickled with a sour cream and onion dressing. It's an acquired taste, I'm sure...but, we've always had a taste of it on New Year's Eve...supposedly for good luck; but, I think it's just because we happen to like it. LOL
