I am grateful that my son is now back from the Persian Gulf. My wife and I went and met his ship The USS Nimitz in San Diego on Nov 8, 2005. What an great experience that was!

I am grateful that I met my twenty two year old son for the first time, clean from any kind of drugs.

I am grateful that my son had done the same as his Mom and I, and had quit smoking cigarettes on his last two weeks of deployment. What a great gift from God.

I am grateful that this year when I sit down to eat a Thanksgiving meal I won’t have the munchies from smoking a bunch of pot.

I am grateful to SoberRecovery for giving my wife and I the opportunity, and the will to get clean!
