Don't Hold Back!! Constuctive Criticism

OK don't think that this is really all my idea here but I think this would be a good thing for me, I just hope that I am ready to hear it all so go ahead PLEASE I would like to hear what you think that I really need to work on and what I might should do for a plan of action...

Try to keep this in mind. It is from the NA Just for Today reading. I hold onto it when I am feeling out of it.

Just for Today, I will have faith in someone in NA who believes in me and wants to help me in my recovery.

I write my posts in a word processor.
Then I wait at least 10 minutes.
I then reconsider my words and thoughts before I post.
This is helpful for me.

Try not to jus focus on the thing that's upsetting you. Like when an argument arises try to remember there's more to life than just that one argument and include more of life's other things in your perspective of what's happening. Or when a friend hurts you try to remember we all get things wrong and pull back to include the good things that same person has done rather than focussing JUST on what has hurt you.

The above helps me..... lots!

I know when there's upset I have a tendency to only see that upset, and it doesn't help me to do that. Pull back to see a bigger picture.
