| HP at work again.
Today is my daughter's 21st birthday. For her birthday, she asked us all to chip in to get her a Limo so her and her friends could go out club hopping without having to drive after they've been drinking. (very thoughtful I thought). Well, the Limo pulls up and my husband hasn't seen the driver yet, but he says "I know that voice" he turns around and says "Hey dude, how are ya?" and gives the driver a hug. I'm looking confused at this point. He tells me that he knows him from the rooms. The driver goes to AA and will have 9 years sober on Monday. He used to come to NA years ago. So, not only do we know that we don't have to worry about the driver drinking, but he's in recovery AND knows my husband. He said he'll make sure everyone is taken care of and safe tonite. I can go to bed and rest easy.

I'm glad that she put some thought into this idea. Hopefully she keeps that frame of mind when it comes to DD'ing and getting rides from people. Btw....knowing the limo guy....small world! -p

Well, Things went OK last night. She said she didn't really get that drunk, she was too busy having fun. 3 of her friends puked. Including her boyfriend, who passed out and had to be carried out of the club. Thank God it is the club that my nephew is the head bartender at. Her boyfriend is somewhat of a light weight. He's not used to drinking, so this does not surprise me. He has a horrible hangover today. At 3 o'clock this afternoon, he still couldn't get out of bed. poor guy. Just makes me laugh that's all.
