| JUST DO IT!! | I Am Done
That is all I have to say after all of this BS, I have done everything that was suggested, I even did a clean sweep AGAIN, I had no problems until 3 or 4 weeks ago and now I am having all of these problems. WTF is this my fault or is there no fault that we all talk about all of the time. You know I have spent this last 3 or 4 weeks fighting this thing that I didn't have before probably about 30 hours, wish I got paid for it. Anyway see ya around Vic

Vic, I know that your computer is frustrating you, so why not call a place that can take a look at it and clean it out for you. I get frustrated myself as I know nothing about who these darn things work or why they don't sometimes, and I have discovered that when all else fails, for about $50 I can get a major tune-up and clean out. It's one of those cases where sitting in the problem just makes us crazy, and there are people who have the solution if we can just get the computer there for them to look at. Easy does it...remember? Hugs

Hey Vic I hate computer problems! Just today spent 90 minutes on the phone with tech support to get back online. Hardest part is the difficulty in understanding their use of the English language - only because most are from India and have a STRONG accent. Did you get my PM? I agree with Ann... easy does it, Tiger! Gina

Yep .. it's damn frsutrating, I have soe sort of malicious ware that I cannot get rid of ( and I've tried about 7 new downloaded virus/spam/malware trackers. Whatever it is lives someplace ain a file by the same name as something else that belongs on my puter and unless I find and delete that file the thing will keep rejuvenating itself. I've sort of learned to have a flyswatter ready and beat the swarm down, but I still haven't figured out where the hole in the screen was that it got in through. Don't take it personal or feel like your not smart because you can't figure it out. I network with lots of pc geniuses and they admitto being befuddled at time too. |

No one is a bigger techno idiot than I am. I've read your thread about the trojan, and I can't understand most of what you people are talking about. But, slowly I am learning. Compare it to recovery. When I first got here, I heard people say "Hit your knees" When I got home with this stupid look on my face I started slapping my knees with my hands thinking "I don't think this is what they f****g mean, or this is really stupid if it is" My point, we stick around and talk to the right people long enough and let them teach us, we will grow and learn. Apply that principle to your computer. Whenever we have a problem, I give my husband the credit card, he calls micro-soft and sits on the phone with a technician for a couple hours and gets it fixed. It doesn't really cost that much, or it wouldn't get done in this house. Stick around dude.
