Hop on. And share about one, or more, moments or times in history you'd most like to be able to experience, if only for one day. Events. People. Places. Whatever. Through your imagination's eyes, take the rest of us on a mystical trip in time |

I'd like to have been present (safely hidden behind a tree) when Queen Boudicca seriously kicked some Roman butt.

I'd just like to be 5 again - does that count?

I'd like to spend a day with Claude Monet in his garden and see what inspired him to paint all those lovely pictures. I'd like to spend another day with Ernest Hemingway, on Key West, just sitting on the beach listening to him tell me about his life. And if I had any time left in the machine, I'd like to spend a day with Tim Conway because that man could make me laugh without even doing anything. Hugs

So many places,so many times. My first thought, I would like to go back and talk to Jesus and to Mary Magdalen.

I'vethought about this since you posted - I love so much of history but I can't think of a single time and place I'd like to be, each one has such mixed emotions, hope, pain, survival, kindness, courage, happiness. No time has one or another just mixes. So I want to stay here, right where I am and listen to stories from other time travellers when they get back. Anyone want my ticket? |

Ahhh... I would go back to the turn of the century in Europe and hang out with all those fabulous artists.... I would have jumped on the surrealistic pillow and drank too much but artistic life and contributions then seemed to be at it's apex.

Hmmm, maybe not so far back as some of you. Maybe just far enough back to have a chance to meet my mom and dad, and get to know a little bit about them.

One time? I can see a new manifestation of my affliction .. one would be too many and a thousand never enough. I would have liked to seen the ruckus when that first steam engine sycled through it's 2nd stroke. |

Best, didn't anyone tell you - you have no control over apple eating. Or who does the apple eating. You could, however, go back and witness the apple eating...I mean, maybe Eve DIDN'T really talk him into it. If he was anything like Mike, the apple would be the equivilent of my leftover chicken bryan that will be gone by midnight, even though I told him not to touch it.

I'd like to go back to the simple years before I was an addict, before I knew anything about drugs, alcohol etc.

I'd like to be a teen-ager again and go to the original Woodstock.
