| SR Movement
Anyone else noticed that SR is kind of a recovery movement entirely on its own? It has made up its own (brilliant) rules. It has its own philosiphy: to be helped, to help. And I bloody love it - and claims to leave it were just stupid on my part. |

They say the sense of community is dying in society today and yet I doubt that. Us human animals have been adapting for 1000's of years, if we need community (which I believe we do) we adapt to create it. Yep - I agree SR is a real thing in it's own right, in terms of the world it's young and fresh and we all hold the pen to write how it develops. We each have responsibility for the actions of our characters - just as in real life. |

Absolutely SR is a movement all it's own. I know in my area, NA, AA, CA, and the Anons could not be put in the same room together without alot of tension and dissention. There is this rivalry. I come here, because I can get all perspectives. I love the cross between the fellowships and the non-fellowships here. I feel that it's not important HOW we recover, just that we DO recover. No matter what form of recovery we use. SR is a like a non-prejudice, all inclusive fellowship. Truly what recovery should be about.
