The provider is here for mom, so I took a moment for myself and I went to the Dusty Barn. Outside where these fake apples and they were just what I wanted for a little basket. I wanted to treat ME to something nice. So, I go inside and ask the gal, how much for her apples. She says "OH they are not for sale. I get people that want to buy them all of the time"..I say "Oh (In my soft pout, which WAS genuine), I really need those apples. I need something to cheer me up..and I HAD to have those apples..I just did. So...of course I don't realize I am on the brink of tears...and she could tell. Sooooo she says " OKAY, I will sell you the apples for 2 dollars a piece. I was smiling. I asked her for a special basket and we got to talking about mom. Next thing I know she is adding this and that to the basket..something called Raffi???? (I think) and a little pumpkin man made out of straw. Then she tied the basket with some twine and added more things. She only charged me for the apples and lowered the price to ONE dollar a piece!!! Oh and half price off on the basket. She told me that in her heart, she needed to do this for me.

Now don't beleive Trish if she should answer this with some fib about me being spoiled. It cannot be true,as the lady does not even know me.

I have this awesome basket on my beautiful wood chest in my living room..and my heart is singing...

Isn't it amazing how people come through for one another during times of sincere need?

Our radars are always working...most of us have a pretty good one...we only need to sense a sincere need and we feel good if we can help make someone else's journey a bit easier...
