Sunday mornings just won't be the same without Tim Russert.

Meet the Press was one of my most favorite shows. I hardly ever missed it. If I had to go out, I rushed home by 10 am so I could catch what Tim had to say, and what guest he had on the hot seat! I learned more about politics from him, than I did from my political science classes.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and to all who loved him.

I'm glad I shared the planet with ya; you were a mentor, even if you didn't know it.

I agree, I still can't believe this happened. I can't imagine how the election will go on without him. What a terrible loss.

Tim Russert embodied the core values of hard work, responsibility, and love for family. If those aren't the reasons that we should seek and then maintain a sober and contributing life, then there are none.

I too was a devotee of his reporting and questioning of our leaders and would be leaders, but as I have watched the tributes to Tim I have been moved to try and live a little better life than I have been living. If someone can motivate by example, then they have lived a victorious existence.

I'm glad you started this Teach. I don't have any beautiful words like the rest of you; I'll always remember the Bush/Gore elections and Tim with that little white board and dry erase markers. Makes me smile.
