What am I listening to right now? Silence. And it sounds good.

Hey Ajax, I grew up in Falmouth; I listened to MYV all the time at work!!!

I'm assuming you live on the Vineyard; so does my father -in - law - Edgartown. Gorgeous island you've got there.

We still live on the Cape.

Whisker, I don't know the song, but I have Sirius and I like that station. I like the coffee house also.

I have a question for you - my cat keeps chewing through the wire to the antenna, and its $50 to get a new one every time. Any suggestions? Remember, I'm an animal person so I've tried a few things already. Nothing worked. Grrrr

As far as what I'm listening to, I'm screening songs right now for my daughter to download onto her Ipod. OMG, The Cheetah Girls, Miley, Aly and AJ (runs screaming down the street)

I've not tried the coffee house. I get Sirius through the satellite company for the tv...but if it's anything like the Octane chanel it must be pretty good.

As for the bad kitty!! Have you tried sliming the cord with a diluted solution of dish soap and water? Bitter Apple from the pet store? Chili powder schmoozed on it? You can also set up mouse traps carefully set upside-down on the lightest setting. Set it to where the cat has to cross it or move it. When it pops (and it that position it won't hurt) - he/she may stick to the ceiling, but the thought of going over there again will not be the first thing in it's mind...LOL.

Have you all seen the DVD of Metallica with the San Francisco orchestra, Michael Kamen, composer and conductor?

Or Peter Gabriel's DVD concert "Secret World" with Paula Cole. What a SHOW!!

OUTSTANDING

I am fixin' to listen to a CD compilation I made, 9 or 10 artists, from Janis Joplin needing a Mercedes Benz to Blind Melon to Carly Simon to Joe Cocker to Shania Twain (Any Man of Mine), Alaniss Morissette, John Mellencamp, can't remember it all. Oh, and James Taylor...he autographed my blood type card, so if I need blood, call Mr Taylor, right?! LOL It's a blast from the past and brings up memories, so it' fun.

Anyone ever seen King Solomon Burke perform live. Oh, be still my beating heart!

Hey Whisker, thanks. I tried the bitter apple but none of the others. I'll give em a go .

The Coffee House isn't anything like Octane; it's like stuff you'd hear at a Starbucks or something; Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, etc.

I've got to be in the mood for it.

Five Finger Death Punch - The Bleeding. Great song, minus the screaming/screeching.

Not as a big a fan of Secret World as I am of the old VHS tape of the "This Way Up!" tour titled POV. Finally got a friend to burn it on a DVD for me. That was an awesome tour (I saw the last two shows on the American leg).

Going to the beach right now, and when I get home I"m gonna listen to Hot August Night by Neil Diamond. Its from the '70s and one of the best, if not the best, live album ever made.
