Thought this might be fun....

Note:
(forgive me, please, if I've never mentioned my children in any post or if I led anyone to believe I didn't have any, I was hiding from the real reason I needed to find recovery and didn't want any of you to tell me that.)

I was finishing up breakfast dishes this morning and my 6 yr old son walks in and out of the blue says in his most grown up matter of fact voice "Mom, you do know'd that if you are in the need for help, you have to tell people you need help, if you don't they will never ever even know you need help"
I tried not to laugh, after all he was very serious. I said "That is absolutely right. Do you need help with something" and here is were he got me, he says "No mom, I'm talking about you."
I was at a loss for words, thinking fast as I could I said "Do you think I need help?"
He said "You do mom, I'm serdious, I need you to come swim with me, you need to tell some one to help you keen so you can hurry up, do you want me to get your phone."

I know, I still laugh when I think about how his little mind must have been churning, thinking how can I get to the pool faster. He's growing up, learning to solve problems, and he really thought that one through to the end.
