Yeah that was awesome. D kept going on and on talking, asking him where his black costume is, whether he liked Sandman, ect. D was almost too short for spiderman ride, but he got to go and he was fascinated the whole time. It was real cool. Its a virtual tide and feels like you are going up and down sky scrapers and stuff with spiderman. D is convinced spiderman saved him from Octo

ok, odd weirdness, mildly creeped out......see a week or so ago one of my daughter's friends from YMCA camp days went by my ex's house as that was our last known address (he's been out of town for a while, obviously!), so mike was kind enough to give him my bberry number and i got him in touch with renee. then i called mike's cell and left him a message, thanking him for being so nice to the kid and just generally wished him well. said if he wanted to call back to chat and update on life, cool, otherwise, have a good one. well he calls me here at work this morning, which is fine. he stumbled a bit cuz i answered the phone "Tess Hurley" and he started to reply, Good Morning Mrs Hurley...anywho, i let him do most of the chatting.....they built a deck out back and put a cover on it, and his sis finally moved out so they've been painting and converting her room into an office, and they have a couple trips planned and the bike is great and yes he's being careful, and yada yada....really chatty and peppy...OH and they got a new dog, ANOTHER jack russell terrier! (i'm going to STRAIGHT to church after work and light about 30 candles for finally having the gumption to leave that man.....) - her name is Lucy and she and Marsailles the wretched papillon get along fine.... so then i give my side of the update....about the house and all, and just how freakin grateful we are, and bucky running around all over hell's half acre (OMG our property IS almost a half acre....this might be the new name, to replace Happy Hank's Trout Farm.....hmmmmmmm), and him swimming out with us in the kayaks, and the deck, and the bbq pit and stuff......and ole mike got really quiet...and less enthused....and sounded almost depressed by the end of the convo. he just sent me an email with pix of the new dog, plus one of marseilles. god i almost jumped out of my chair! lucy is a funny looking girl, she's a jack, but has this long shaggy hair and really short legs, cute as a button....marseilles hasn't changed a bit. she's sitting on that same damn leather couch. and there's the flooring that i picked out for the kitchen when we remodeled....and it all just makes me kinda queazy. i did send him back a pic of bucky on the deck and the one with the trout hanging out of his mouth! and i hope that wraps up the annual update with the ex......eek. |

Hello my pennies friends - guess who is on-line in the comfort of her home!!!! YES. now - if we could get the washer/dryer situation worked out - all would be good. why would you deliver a washer/dryer without making sure everything was FINE 1st????? of coursed salesman reassurred me they would - NOT - the washer is here - but had to take the dryer back to "FIX" it - hello why not check those fuses before it left the store. I know I bought a display model saved me $50, but they were still suppose to check it - duh. NOw they want to deliver the dryer tomorrow?? I can't take off another day of work. AH was ticked off - cause I went the store he suggested in stead of where I wanted to go. So he called salesman and salesman is now having a brand new dryer delivered today. ya know I didn't have to have NEW one- just wanted one delivered today. So haven't caught up on emails & other stuff yet. Will try later. Hope everyone had a nice wkend. Cindi hope the boys had fun! visit with ya'll in a little while - so fun to not have to wait until I get to work!!!!!!

HI Rita I'm home too!!! Its very nice. Eating a big ol cheeseburger and garlic fries YUMMY!!!!! Gotta go put the sheets in the wash. I got buried today at work but I guess thats why I make the big bucks!!! OMG that had to be the funniest thing I have said all day. Got into a tif with my mom about my sister you know my sister walks on water in her eyes. You remember the big blow out about my dads computer how I wanted to take it and back it up before the kids were allowed. Well my sister thought that was too controling and my mom said I wasnt allowed to remove anything from the house. So my niece downloading a virus and crashed the computer that is where all my dads info was on his stocks and his entire life. Its gone I'm devastated but hey what do I know. So is life....... I think when all is said and done I will no longer be in communication with them. Including my nieces they are just as ungrateful and dont care about nothing but themselves. They crashed the motherboard in my computer, broke my cell phone and now dads computer. Oh well.

oh gosh KJ........well i guess it's a strange turn of karma huh? if all that info is GONE, then THEY certainly can't get their hands on it can they????? let them reap the consequences of their selfish behavior........i am sorry tho. rita when hank and i lived at redondo and the landlady ordered a new dishwasher, they had to come out THREE times!!!!! first time, oopsie, wrong size! second time, oopsie, needs plumbing work, and we don't do that. third time i told them if they bring the tomato juice i'll have the vodka and we'll do bloody marys, cuz these all happened on saturday MORNINGS! |

Well I'm sure they dont care a bit about ALL dads stuff being gone but I would have liked it. Ya know his pictures and he was doing alot of work on our ancestry I would have liked to see and all his other projects. Its like my everything my dad worked for is gone and it upsets me. I restored it but I put a password on it and pretended I dont know what it is so now they have NO computer. Oh they can sit and stair at it but thats about it. Probably what I should have done in the first place but I didnt want to ruffle any feathers ya know. Hindsite is 20/20.

hate that with your dads computer - they just have no respect for other people's stuff huh? well the new dryer is here and working fine - the delivery guys sure looked hot & tired, offered them a cold Coke & Dr Pepper - that seemed to smooth things over a little bit. was able to give my old dryer to my Mom & that felt good. She has & is always doing stuff for us so it was nice to help her for once. then her old dryer went to an AA friend who didn't have one at all - the circle just keeps on passing on. Hey Palm How is little Cooper?
