ok - I thought we have had the mice vs rat lesson before - I didn't think they were the same thing. Not a big pet person as we know -

I don't know what poor Moose (my AH's chocolate lab) is going to do. Right now, he pretty much lives in the "old house" - what a life huh? The dog has about 3 huge rooms to run around all day to play, a semi-screened in backporch. The rooms that he plays in have the areas that are damaged blocked off so he can't get hurt, windows open for ventilation, and yet it's still protecting him from the rain/heat/cool etc.

We are schedule to demo this house in May - where will poor ole Moose live now???
What a step down to a regular ole dog house!! He's definitely NOT moving into my house! (please God I don't want him in my house!!!) He's HUGE. Somebody will just have to build him another place to live - cause I don't plan on budging on this one.

Beside AH can take Moose with him - I don't want a dog - I have a stuffed pink sheep that came with my Serta Mattress - that's a good enough pet for me!

Ahhhhhh poor Moose. I must say I love my dog, I love dogs especially labs, but I wouldnt want a dog who'd been living alone in a damaged house to move into my nice clean house. The dog we had was a mess after only 3 months of that, she'd forgotten my plate had MY food, that the stove was hot, ect among other things

Well I've been busy....good morning to all of you....

Supposed to get up in the 80's today and the wind looks to be blowing a little.

All those storms and stuff everywhere yesterday.....and NOTHING at my house!!!! Or here at this office either!!!!

For any of you that pray, we could use prayers for rain over this direction! We're running out of water and everything!!!

Anvil I hear ya on the dog and leashes. I used to hate when I would walk my dads dog down the erie canal bank if it was just us I would unleash the dog and when I saw others coming leash her. I used to hate when others wouldnt leash their dogs when they saw us coming. Especially BIG dogs its scary when they would run at ya. I gotta remind myself that today isnt friday... sigh..... Feels like one though.

Connie I will do a rain dance for ya hope that will bring ya some rain if not a good laugh. We got just a little bit yesterday but we could use some soon.

I just went and bought the guys some italian cookies, half moon cookies and pepperoni bread. That should keep them on my good side they take good care of me here.

anvil - I feel ya - the few & far times I do let someone else drive the ZoomZoom - why do they have to adjust ALL of the buttons, seats, mirrors and everything on the vehicle, especially if it's just a hop, skip & a jump to the convenience store & right back????

hello?? leave it the way I had it buddy!! I feel the "no no" coming out after some people today!! - Just kinda have that lingering mood simmering under my skin -

tread softly those who dare come near Rafaella today, I might even be tempted to use my Spiked High Heel Shoe if necessary!!

Probably not a good day to go to Wal-Mart huh? But I'm out of Hot Choc, deodorant and bath wash - so if I don't I'll be an angry, stinky woman tomorrow -

cool discount shopping Cindi.

I went shopping after my trip to pay-off the "stuff" yesterday - my old behaviors were screaming at me to shop, shop, shop - CHARGE, CHARGE, CHARGE - just to try to numb the pain I was feeling - but I just walked thru the mall killing time til Payton's game - didn't buy anything - so glad I didn't HAVE to buy anything to get thru yesterday afternoon - that would have been a RELAPSE for me!!

ok - off to lunch for me - left over pizza - canadian bacon & pineapple pizza!! yummy!!

A man Tall, dark, handsome and RICH sounds so desiring...

Cindi, just make sure with your salad you dont have too much ceasar dressing. I learned from weight watchers years ago that people mistake ceasar salad as a salad thats good to eat when your trying to lose weight but with the cheese, sometimes bacon bits and esspecially the dressing works the opposite effect.

Connie - I'll do the rain dance for both of us. Even though we have gotten some rain, we are still in drought. The huge lake north of Atlanta that's also a reservoir...some dummy accidentally released 138 million gallons earlier this year...how do you accidentally release that much water? Especially when the lake is drying up before your eyes!?

Cindi - I totally agree with you on the mice. That's why I initially got cats years ago...to get rid of the mice. Pretty-kitty left a dead one on the floor one day and I about jumped out of my skin! I'm glad she killed it, but would have preferred her to take it outside!

Rita - get the no-no out, 'cause it sounds like you could use it! I need to go to Walmart, too, but I'm in a good mood, so it shouldn't be too bad. Brit is actually doing her schoolwork (in between playing around on myspace), dad just went to pick up a check that someone has owed him for 6 months, so home is still a happy place today.

Oh, when we got to the restaurant last night, Brit and I both love steak and shrimp so I showed her the meal to get. She said "OMG, do you see how much it costs?!" I told her it was okay, get what she wanted and she said "are you SURE?" I even got her a vigin strawberry dacquiri! Stepmom got a pina colada, and I got a wonderful peach/blackberry margerita. That will last us for another few months!

Hope everyone is having a good day!

Anvil you crack me up with your spreadsheets. Too cute. I'm not one to track time too much UNLESS its the time clock. 2 MoRE hours to go WOO HOO. I think this is 5yrs for Scott and I. We just pick an anniversary date since we cant remember the actual date. Pretty cheesey huh.

Wanna hear something kinda funny and ironic? Well Ill tell you anyway.
AH is once again claiming "changing his life" he even had cash on him all day yesterday and gave it to me when I got home. Early am, around 5 there was a knock on the door. It was his drunk brother with his sisters car. Dan got up drove him, allegedly to find sis, but BIL started claiming he forgot where she was, she was at home and then handed AH a bottle. AH said this is nuts its 5:30 am, Im going home, drove them back to our house and left his brother still wanting to party refused to come in and crash.
AH made it clear never to show up in the middle of the night unless yor sober and its an emergency.

ANyway, today has gone on AH just called his brother is mad Dan wouldnt hang out (and fall for the car taking blame) Mad the sister is mad blames the world ect. Dan said well of course she's mad and BIl got really defesnsive saying its noones business what he does cause he doesnt hurt anyone. AH said not true, you effected sis by taking her car and got me and my wife involved by coming over, you are effecting all of us and you need to not be so selfish.
Ah called me to vent about his bros irrational blame on everyone else and then apologize for all the hurt hes caused cause now hes seeing a blurred image of himself

I found it kinda ironic
