A Special Bond

Even though we have never met,
I feel a bond between us.
A bond that should have taken years to build,
Yet was built in a month or two.
A bond that lifelong friends should have,
Although most never do.
A bond that I am glad to share with you...
My Friend and Confidant.

You are not here in body and soul,
But as a lighted rectangle.
You come to me every day as
A message on my screen,
A message that I can rely on
To cheer me up and make my day.
Through a keyboard we share
Our ups and downs.

I have opened my inner self to you,
And you have to me as well.
We have traded secrets and laughs,
As well as sorrows and pain.
I have never met you, but feel as if
I have known you most of my life.
To most this might sound silly,
But I assure them, it is not.

How many posts does a thread have before it needs to be updated? Cause I saw another one with 501 posts... just curious if I posted a new thread prematurely. Sorry if I did.

I'm going to the doctor at 2:30 today... I have an awful rash on my legs and arms and I can't stop scratching. I have no idea what this is... just hope the doc can give me something to clear it up and stop the itching. Ugh!

OMG I scratched like a mad person when I was preggo with little one!! Sigh....glad that is over with. I thought I would go insane. There's just something preggo ladies get that make them itch I guess, no one could ever tell me why.....

You mean I may have to scratch like this for another 4 1/2 months... OMG... being pregnant is so not for sissy's. What lovely symptoms it comes with. I keep telling myself when its all over I get a beautiful baby... (i'm smiling here) LOL

HEY HEY HEY------ I did it; I QUIT!!!!!!!

Well my peeps; I honoured my 2 weeks less 2 days LOL LOL I told them where to go this morning and walked off - Called my present company they're all proud of me.....starting of course my new job on Monday and going in for training tomorrow all day YIIPPEEEEE!!!!

It's like a big relief to finally not have to go there and deal with BUSY BEE; I just basically told them I was not playing in the sand box with them anymore and I was going my separate way. I put on my BIG GIRL PANTIES this morning and took you all with me to my last meeting; (yes Anvil you were on the armchair) I thought of what Raffaella said last week :that's an offer they can't refuse" LOL LOL LOL

We'll I think I'll put on a fresh pot of JAVA and play it cool for today; planning also on having a nice long nap; after I disconnect all the phones ahahahaah!!!

Other than doing a load of laundry, writing letters to a few friends in jail, and reading a new book, I am doing not much of anything today! Last few weeks have been hectic with the apt. hunting and that is on hold until I get the letter from my PO, so I think I'm entitled to be lazy. Apparently, the cats agree...they are laying on the bed.

Palm I am proud of you but I wish you could have had some days off for yourself before you started the new job.

I have been working like crazy to get everything together before my last day tomorrow. right now I am on my lunch brake... eating some salad.

My daughter woke up sick today... gotta say ifs its not one thing its something else. I need to do tons of laundry it seems abf's hands are broken so I am thinking of not even doing his.

AJ, use Eucerin moisturizing lotion, it helps. Also try milder detergent while pregnant or run once extra through rinse cycle.

Im very busy at work, also have no voice.

Jewelz, I hope your daughters better before your trip, traveling, well flying with a cold is miserable.

good afternoon -
just checking in quickly before I head to 2nd job - got several emails from my several of you, but I apologize I haven't had time to read them - I'll try to catch up tomorrow.

Haven't heard anything about Ashley, but I didn't think I would - I'll have to make the calls myself tomorrow to see what I can find out or I can just wait until someone decides to let me know. To much else to deal with today - so that situation is just shelved until tomorrow.

Focus on the Next Right thing - which is the tons of work in front of me & the tons of tax returns to do tonite and
Repeat to myself, I will not throw up again, I will not throw up again - power of positive thinking - isn't that how you get over the stomach flu????? - heck it's worth a try!

well i found out this evening that my bank account has been frozen from some debt. I never was issued a papers, petition or anything. So happens my sisters boyfriend bank account was also frozen by the same lawyer as well yesterday and he wasnt served with anything but he is fighting it.. his debt was a 11 years old, hes on workers compensation, and he wasnt served any papers. I cant I have my direct deposit going in next friday... I leave tuesday for puerto rico, my debit card wont work anymore... no washing mutual in puerto rico... heard it may take 3 days or more for the account to get unfrozen. Thankfully I do have some cash coming to me on sunday but then I have bills to pay. I wont know the story till I talk to them tomorrow... but this just sucks. I am surprised that I havent broken down yet. But I have to say its always But I have to say its always something!!!!!

good morning! Its finally Friday! Yipee! actually more like a monday for me cuz i have to work the weekends, but I think Friday is really more a state of mind right? so far so good up, and the sun is shining!! its suppossed to hit 60 today, thank god for that! good day to vaccum out the van.

jewel-i completely understand how frustrating the bank acct thing is, ours was levied by the irs, so everything that goes in right now goes straight to them. its loads of fun, and i totally agree - its always something!!! so excited for ya for your vacation, i hope you have a blast, you deserve it.

I'm not looking forward to going to weigh, but maybe I've done better this week??? It's anyone's guess cuz when I think I've done better, it's actually worse??? Go figure....

So, went to the ladies meeting last night and it was good, saw my sponsor....going to one tonight too and this weekend, will be really busy! Not sure how much I'll be on here....with stuff to do at home anyways, trying to finish up my room, sheetrocking if dad comes up, chasing little one around, dance, getting stuff semi-ready for the trip next week..... sigh...............so...hope all ya'll have a good one and to all of those not reporting in....just remember....you can NEVER get out of the "Codie Mafia"...

another busy day for me - won't be able to visit much -
haven't heard how the court date went yesterday - called the public def. ofc to talk with her atty (this is the one that reached out to me for info & asked me to call him if I had questions and at least I get it from a reliable source instead of the he said/she said type thing - right?) He's out of the ofc right now, left a message - hopefully he will get back in touch with me later today - if so I'll give ya'll an update.

Surrounded by so many other things - taking my own words & trying to use them - Breathe, Just Breathe - Focusing on the Next Right thing.

Jewelz, praying you are able to resolve all those issues quickly and if I don't get to visit before then - please enjoy your trip - you deserve it!!

where is everyone today?? its sooo beautiful out today, took the kids to the playground, now they're out front riding their bikes. boy i hope this weather sticks around, it does amazing things for my mood! got lots accomplished, and i have to say, that right now all is right in my little corner of the world. got go outside and clean out the van before i leave for work. sending hugs and prayers to everyone today, i hope we all get to have quiet peaceful weekends!!

It's my Monday, so back to work tonight. We have had gorgeous weather all week, but rain is heading our way. After we had so much problems with all our lakes drying up this past summer, rain is a good thing.

well spoke to the lawyers office... debt got settled but my bank account wont be unfrozen till 3 buisness days. I will be in puerto rico by then and will be unable to use my debit card cause it will be inactive.... this sucks.
