(((Least))) - could you send that rain OUR way? We really need it!

I just got Elvis in, he's been outside all day. Poor guy has had a runny nose for months, does NOT like me trying to clean it up, but he gets over it.

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

((HG)) Be careful with that cold, there is some wicked sickness going around here, some get it mildly and some get pneumonia....which reminds me to remind all the whiny people to get a pneumonia vaccine. Your doctor will have it. It's not just for old people, it's for anyone who asks and it just may save your life.

((Least)) You are a wonderful terrific and splendid person, pooh to ungrateful kids.

((Amy)) Don't forget to paint your nails before you take the cookies, something subtle and delicate and make sure it matches your lipstick.

((Jersey)) Rest those lovely dancing legs, we cannot have you puffed.

Did I say I feel almost normal again after much sleep and a slow day at work?

Hugs to the whiny people.

Little Miss Fandy...once threatened the 2nd Mr. Fandy...(the cardiologist) because he refused to write her some prescriptions...she threatened to "report him" because his scrip pads were "left out in the open" (on the kitchen counter where he did paperwork and had coffee in the house we shared for 9 years).....no wonder he left me????

Oh and Least, you don't have to give the ungrateful brat anything if she's rude to you....let her stew for a few days before she breaks grandma's china. and when was the last time she visited her grandmother????

(((Fandy))) - congrats on keeping losing!! Thanks for the heads up on ((Suki)). She's a sweetie and needs our support.

I got caught up on FB and found out my cousin, Gary, would have been 44 yesterday. He's the one dad and I went to the funeral of in Aug., he died of liver failure probably from heroin he used when he was 17 causing hep C.

I posted on my cousin's page (his big brother and also an RA..I think) and will call my aunt tomorrow. Gary was her baby, and it's been a rough several months for her and my uncle.

I hate addiction and all it does to people with every fiber of my being.

On a good note, Elvis has consented to staying inside, and when I started rattling off all his "aunties and uncles" who love him, he turned into a furry mush-ball He's not quite as thrilled about hearing of his cousins (Ozzy, Pookie, Slim, Fandy, etc.) but he'll get over it.

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

that's the thing about whines...they are always there when you get home from work....like the dirty dishes and laundry, catbox that needs scooping.

why are kiwis so slippery when i peel them? why am i not independantly wealthy? why is it i could gain 3 lbs. after eating a nice dinner and it takes 3 weeks to lose it? why why why?

whatta whine-fest.
big whiney hugs to everyone, i gotta go to work, a whine in itself.

The place has always gotten an excellent rating since I've been here...I do believe they deserve it. Sometimes people are so negative...finding fault just so they feel they have something to "contribute".
Remember, I told you about a meeting we had with a State rep on Monday? Well, the Director of Nursing came in this am to tell me the State people were very pleased with the way our meeting went. Seriously? My only whine today is that the State reps are as clueless as most of the residents. But, it does look like we'll get another good rating...we'll know tomorrow.

Oh, I do have a whine! I can't wait for The State to leave tomorrow...they freak me out, the way they walk around "observing", never cracking a smile...CREEPY!!!

I need to figure out why my bedside clock said 8:20 when I woke up at 10:30. It plugs into the wall and the second hand is sweeping around like it's supposed to. Weird.

I didn't have any whines, but ((Fandy)) remined me of one - I wanna be independently wealthy!

I applied for another loan at school, don't know if I'll get it or how much it will be, but can't hurt. They're not HUGE loans, and I'm still in an "okay" payment range that won't start until 6 months after I graduate.

I got more grades, still have the last week's grades to go BUT, unless I make less than a 50 on any assignment (which I haven't made less than a 78 all semester) I really am going to have all A's?

I checked and rechecked the numbers, and I still can't believe it, but I am less than 50 points away from an A in 3 classes, 67 points away in the other but I have 200 points ungraded.

I'm taking today as a "chill out" day. I did talk to my aunt M, they are doing fine and we had a nice long chat. I didn't get to sleep until after the sun came up, was dreaming I was talking to aunt M when the alarm went off to go the financial aid workshop.

It's hot as heck here, but the brat HAS to have some boots, so she and sm have gone shopping with dad's card and permission. I didn't say a word, as he told me to fill up my car with his gas card, but it's so I can work.

Whatever, I'm not letting anything get to me today. I survived, and did good, on a tough semester. Oh yeah, I even got a 100 on a paper I thought I had totally messed up and apologized to the instructor, as she's the one who taught us how to write the "right way". She said she didn't see a thing wrong with it?

I am amazed but too tired to run around and dance. Stomach is feeling queasy, so I may just lay down for a while.

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

thankGod Least posted! it means she hasn't been thrown in jail only to be bailed out in time for more mother's day torture.

Amy I will not question WHY boots are needed when it's 95 degrees outside and the rest of the world is wearing open toe shoes.

I had 16 texts and 9 emails from LMF this morning....I answered every one and even feigned sympathy about her lettuce plants that the neighbor's cat pee-pee'd on. I did not offer her a television set although she hinted *strongly*.....first it's a TV, then she will be scrounging the furniture.
