Chess Anyone?

Hey everyone,

It's been a while since I posted here in the Cafe. It is good to be back here. I wish it was for different circumstances but I'll leave that stuff for my other thread.

Anyways, I started playing Chess a couple weeks ago and am really enjoying it so far. I am not very good yet but it is definitely a game that takes a lot of practice. I downloaded some Chess books and have been doing some reading on different strategies and what not. I felt like I was learning a new language almost when I was figuring out how to read chess notation.

Right now, I'm really liking playing what is called The London System.

I was just wondering if anyone else out there enjoys playing Chess?

I was hoping I would find a couple of people here that played. I don't know if I will be able to concentrate enough to play during the early stages of detoxing but after I get through that hell it'll definitely be something I can use to keep my mind occupied.
