| What is your favorite movie?
Seems like we need some happy entertainment. Thought I'd make up something..... What's your favorite movie & why? Mine is Legends Of The Fall. I love the imagery, acting, Brad Pitt & Anthony Hopkins, the tragedies & the drama of the characters wanting but not getting what they want. They are all chasing something they can't quite grasp. |

I love the Coen brothers...but they tend to be very dark so I'll pick an old childhood favourite instead..The Princess Bride. I watched it a million times when I was a kid and still love it now, plus Peter Falks is in it for like 5 minutes and he's ace, I love Columbo

I liked "The Day After Tomorrow" . Also "Analyze That". I love Robert DeNiro. I saw a movie recently on ovguide.com free movies called "A Woman Under the Influence" with Peter Falk and Gina Rowlands , from 1974. It was.....different, and left me wondering.

I Like A Beautiful Mind, it's really well written and the twist caught me totally by surprise. Otherwise Martin Scorsese: Goodfellas, Casino and Shutter Island. |

I watched Oh Brother Where Art Thou last night so I'm loving that right now. And I loved Across the Universe. But my favorite of all time is The Wizard of Oz.

I LOVE "Oh Brother Where Art Thou!" One of my favorites. I like goofy movies that make me laugh, such as: Napoleon Dynamite Nacho Libre Raising Arizona And feel-good movies like: The Blind Side Pay it Forward The Pursuit of Happyness My all-time favorite though, is My Fair Lady. Loved it as a kid and still do.

So I Married An Axe Murderer, Romancing The Stone, The Untouchables, Shawshank Redemption, Dirty Dancing (or as my sister calls it, "Filthy Footwork"), Shrek, (any one of them) Independence Day, corny but great Alcoholic redemption! No one has given our family more laughs than Steven Segal! Skittles, as my father calls him. My father once commented that "He should kill her, she is slowing him down". Beautiful! I don't think Skittles intended for some scenes to be so funny, but he cracks me up! "Take that to the bank,......the bloodbank.....puhpuhpuhpuh (gunfire)" |
