An interesting discussion about how alcohol isn't needed to have fun

Hey guys Sorry for charging into your thread like this, but I wanted to share an interesting discussion that is happening on my blog. Basically, I have never drunk before. I go out a LOT, dance, sing, flirt etc., but my elixir of choice is Orange Juice. I decided to blog about this and how this mentality can actually help people learn languages for example. It's on my site fluentin3months.com
An interesting discussion has started in the comments, and I would like to hear other people's opinion of it. Thanks!!

Firstly welcome to the board.

Interesting, I shall take a peek at your site. I myself DO still enjoy a drink a few nights a week but I definately know also how to have a great time without it. In fact most of my past times, sailing, climbing and fishing to name a few, do not include alcohol at all. I find groups of people out drinking and whooping it up to be a pretty tedious lot. On my drinking nights I just crash out in front of a good movie.
But Im with you on this one. People who need booze to have a good time are generally boring people anyway.
