| Carl's Jr Commercial
Just curious..... Heard the "Bourbon Burger" commercial today. Not that I'm one to get all upset over something like this...."political correctness" goes too far sometimes IMO, but I guess I just wasn't in the mood today to laugh at this commercial. Anyone heard it? It plays off like an AA message....for the "bourbonoholic" "I care more about the bourbon burger than providing for my family" "I only have them socially, it's not a problem" Stuff like that. As someone hurt first hand by addiction, I guess I wonder: can't they come up with something original????? OK - said my peace....I'll get over myself now. |

Or how about Burger King... Their "Burger Shots..." And at their soda fountain, little cards that explain which beverage "pairs well" with what burger... yea, like the Dr. Pepper must have a nice "nose" and finish well... maybe that's what I'll get with my "triple stack".... yea right. Don't like BK anyway... Mark

Wonder if they are area specific? I am near Atlanta. I've never heard of Carl Jr. at all. The BK's around here don't have soda fountains nor have I seen the "shots" ad anywhere. The biggest thing around here recently.....  several fast food places are featuring a variety of things for $1 plus a free small beverage for Seniors. Thus for $2.16 I can have a sandwitch.fries/drink Wow!.....  .
