Favorite TV Shows

I thought I'd get a discussion going on about everyone's favorite TV show's. I don't know if there already is one going here but I figured I'd start.

LOST
South Park
The Mentalist
House
Family Guy
Eastbound & Down
Entourage
Two and a Half Men

I'm sure I forgot a few but those are the ones that come to mind. How about all you?

I like House, too. I watch it whenever I can catch it.

I also like Planet Earth.

(And sometimes I watch the UFO shows on History Channel. )

Oh, yeah, and Law and Order, SVU

Forgot about the History Channel. I love the UFO shows too (I swear my brother and I saw one when we were much younger but that's another story) as well as Dogfights but I haven't been seeing that as much lately. I think they may have run out of good dogfights to cover.

Hmm, let's see.

My current favorites:
The Office
Grey's Anatomy
Desperate Housewives
South Park
Man vs. Food
Dirty Jobs
Just about anything starring Gordon Ramsay, as long as it's the BBC version and not the crapified American FOX version

I *watch* Mythbusters but I don't know that I can call it a "favorite".

My all-time favorite tv show is Friends and always will be. I have all 10 seasons on DVD and watch them regularly (and I watch all the reruns that are on TBS). I was also a huge fan of The Sopranos, Oz, and Sex and the City on HBO.

Gordon Ramsay is great but I have to admit I watch Hell's Kitchen pretty regularly as well as his programs on BBC. I'm also a big fan of Top Chef on Bravo but since the third season it's kind of been a let down for me.

I also was a big fan of the Sopranos but I don't know if any show with such a following and reputation could have ended it any worse.

Aside from the morning news and an occasional HGTV show like "Devine Design" I don't watch that many programs.

But movies....watch out. I watch way too many movies on the premium channels. Drives my family crazy because I watch the same movies over and over and over......only a partial list:

The Matrix (original only)
Lord of the Rings Trilogy
romantic comedies - too many to name (bows head in shame)
Independence Day
Remember the Titans
High Fidelity
Finding Forrester
Good Will Hunting
Antoine Fisher
To Kill a Mockingbird
Ocean's 11 (no sequels)
Harry Potter movies
oh and kid's movies...Happy Feet, Toy Story, etc.

Basically feel-good movies, often with a message.

Husband is totally into 24 though.

TV in Australia is pretty crap LOL but I watch a few things

Life on Mars and the Office (US versions); 30 Rock (I miss Arrested Development); Doctor Who and Shameless (UK)...

looking forward to watching Mad Men when it debuts here in a few weeks and the spin off to the UK Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes, sometime soon
