A must read in my opinion - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

A book that really help me understand my HP and form a personal relationship with my HP is The Shack by W. Paul Young. The book is about forgiveness and Gods love. It is a Christian book, just so you know.

I realize that The Shack has been out a long time, but I just read it for the first time 2 weeks ago.
It sure does leave a lasting impression, and I enjoyed it immmensely.

I'm a believer, so maybe that helped?

I read The Shack last summer and really enjoyed it. It is religious, if you want to take it that way, or a beautiful story if you'd rather take it that way. I loved it, easy reading, can't put it down and I read it in one day!

I also read "The Red Tent" and couldn't put it down either! Now I have this urge to actually read the Bible, as a book about people, not verses.

I read that also and it was very good. It's a very uplifting story, and has a lot of beautiful messages. I'm not a Christian, but it was still helpful to me. Be sure to have a lot of tissues available if you read this book.
