I find that the desire to answer questions is a desire for control. To be able to answer all our questions would make life much less intimidating and safe as we would be in total control. No mysteries.
On the other hand, when I obsess over finding an answer for a particular question is when I find myself forgetting to live in the moment. I let life pass me by temporarily and that's just annoying.Posted 06-25-2008 at 08:54 PM by Stamps43

Maybe it's like a zen koan - there is no right answer. 'What is the sound of one hand clapping?' etc.Quote:How does one live with unanswered questions? Do we simply try to forget the questions? Try not to care?
Or is it possible that the question is more important than the answer, and we can fill in the blanks with anything we choose?
I think that there are some problems or issues that have no solution or answer. All I can do is learn to manage it and somehow weave it into the fabric of my life. Of course, I tried to find the solution at the bottom of a bottle but that didn't work too well :-pPosted 06-26-2008 at 05:19 AM by TigerLili

no answering and not knowing is really living in self denial. I am currently having a problem with my partner being this way.... it is better to be realistic... and make the effort.Posted 06-28-2008 at 04:10 AM by carolineteo
