Thank you for taking the time to give me feedback. Much appreciated.
I have the "My Way Out" book and actually ordered the vitamins (from a cheaper place) I just didn't think the hynosis tapes were worth it. I gave the vitamins a good try and didn't see any results really. I guess maybe I should have ordered the drink mix along with it too when I was doing that. A few months ago I did get the drink mix off of ebay and it didn't seem to help too much and didn't taste that great. It was also an expense. I'd love to be able to drink in moderation but being that I'm a binge drinker, I'm not so sure in not kidding myself that it will be a possibility in my life. I also have a book by Susan Powter which I like a whole lot -- that girl does have a way with words and with just telling it like it is. Between the two, I do agree that taking vitamins is a worthwhile thing - just not a magic thing for me. And also eating more sensibly - always a good thing.
I'm encouraged by your sense of taking what you need and leaving the rest. That appeals to me. Maybe that could be a key to my success. Made me feel better too that someone else got that drinking urge from AA. So I think the more I read/research I will be able to find some tools that fit me.
I've always had a firm belief in God (I know I wouldn't be here if he didn't have a part in my life) but I never have believed in the flavors of religion. I feel there is just one God. People worship in different ways and who is anyone to say their way is the right way. IMHO
Again thanks for taking the time for being long-winded and I apologize back for the same
You've been a positive for me today ~faith
