Wow, ROFL, way to hit on exactly what I've been thinking about lately.
I've been wondering a lot, seeing all these selfless people around the tables, if there really is such a thing as true altruism. I mean, we're fundamentally selfish creatures, right?
Or maybe we're just over-thinking things.

I understand this completely. I often wonder the same about my actions/sentiments.
This is one of my favorite sayings, I think it applies here;
At the end of the day....you are who you are....the WHY doesn't matter.
Perhaps you are so selfless that you want to be even more selfless in your attempts to help people?

We get what we give, right? Isn't that the cliche? I say just be happy with what you're giving, which is huge, and just smile and nod at what comes back. You've given me more help and support than you've gotten, and there's no question I owe you tremendously. And yet you continue to give-- certainly doesn't seem selfish to me!
