I have just registered today....this looks like a really good site on first impressions and it seems like theres some good sobriety out there..is this site for alcoholics only? If not, could some1 please inform me on what kind of site this is please?

SR is definitely not just for us alkies. Check out the main forum listing (go to the main site and click "forums"): there's forums for alcoholism, for substance abuse, for nicotine addiction, for family and friends of addicts, even for mental health and eating disorders. I'd recommend you check out all the different forums, figure out which one you'd be most comfortable in. Maybe start out by introducing yourself in the Newcomers forum.
