The most important thing in my life at the moment, for this day, is my sobriety. Sounds selfish but there you have it. I'll do what ever it takes. That’s not a reckless statement. I am very sober at the moment and very aware of what day it is. It is 13 days past the day I made the most important decision of my life.

My reasons to count the days --------

As we have much in common, anniversary dates are celebrated in the forum and at other meetings. There’s a pat on the back and a reason for every one to come together. For me, what I just said is reason enough to count the days.

One more ---------

I liken counting these days to tying a string on my finger. I can’t avoid noticing it and it is a powerful reminder.
