stories we tell ourselves

The stories we tell ourselves and others are the stories that keep us trapped in the story we are telling.
We become the story, and everyone who comes into our lives become a part of our story.
Every event that occurs, we recant it so it fits into our story of who we are and the way in which the world and everyone in it adapts to our own belief of the story we tell of ourselves.
Do you like the story you are telling yourself and others? Is it the story you wish to continue to experience? Is it the story you love to tell and retell?
If not...it is possible to change your story at any moment!

Thank you kwigers. I love this! My story is a good one...today. Today I have a story I wish to continue to experience. My story today is about recovery. Today, I am so grateful to be sober. Sober for 134 days! I will work on continuing my story for another 24 hours. I remember the stories I used to tell myself and others and pray I never have to tell those again.Posted 08-02-2009 at 05:04 AM by SCRedhead
