Loving you began with loving myself.
I had to look at me, and love me, every part of me, the good the bad, the ugly. I had to realize for myself that there wasn't anything about me that was no longer loveable, worthy of love...
in order for me to look at you and love you.
every part of you, the good, the bad and the ugly as well.
I had to stop judging parts of me, so I would stop seeing those in you.
I had to stop beating myself up, so I could stop beating you up as well.
I had to stop putting expectations on myself, so I could stop putting them on you.
Loving you came about from me loving myself.
