Day 3

I don't know or really care if anyone reads this. I just want have a place to vent. I feel pretty good today - my 3rd day sober. I'm feeling a little anxious but that always happens, it should go away in about a week.
I wonder if I'll succeed this time, I'm a binge drinker rather than a every-day-drinker, so it's been hard. Alcoholics drink every day right? yeah- they also drink 8-9 drinks when they do decide to drink.
Day 1 was such hell - i felt like i was having an out of body experience all day. it was like outside looking in - and i was on the brink of tears all day.
So i'm off to work soon, no big cravings or problems - but i'm sure that will happen soon enough.

Hey Jen, good to see you blogging girl!
Different people have different definitions of alcoholism. My definition is that an alcoholic is anyone who has problems related to their drinking. Like any other definition, it is probabably not the best one, but it is what i use. You are obviously on this site cause you are having problems with drinking. Hey Jen .. one day at a time , dont think bout if your sober a week from now , just live in today! and if thats to big make it a hour a or a minute , what ever it takes to get you thu the day .. peace n serenity to youPosted 07-10-2008 at 12:57 PM by endzoner
