Here's some thoughts I've had since joining SR
- What wonderful support and inspiration I've found here.
- I wonder if people are getting tired of my positive posts. I have a hard time too, I just choose to see the lighter side of things.
- I can Lick this alcohol thing, some of my new friends are struggling with much tougher addictions and situations
- I like reading the posts/responses from someone who has significant sober time under their belt
- I hope people who are coming back after falling see their consequenses. There is a lot of forgiveness here. Don't get me wrong, I love the forgiveness, I just hope we see the consequenses of our actions.
- I do actually think this is working for me. I've had some bad temptations, and I have not givin in to them!

I agree with all you said. As far as people seeing the consequences of their drinking, I think that is exactly why everyone is here. A relapse for some is just a little more damage to their liver and organs, for others it is damaging their relationships with their family/friends, for some it is a DUI and other legal troubles, and for others it is death. I'm am all for positivity!!!!
