36 days and (still) counting

I'm going to be rambling here, so bear with me readers, if you exist. I'm 36 days clean of opiates. I'm leaning heavily on the alcohol crutch. I smoked (weed) for the first time in about a year this past weekend. I was drunk when I did it. ** fact... I seem to always check the clock when it's 4:20, unintentionally. ** My thought processes are always so disjointed... it's hard for me to communicate my thoughts; I end up using way too many parentheses, ellipses, semicolons, and commas (and apparently asterisks have been added to the list now). 4:23 in the AM here on the east coast. I have class tomorrow at 9:30. Maybe I'll make it.
I missed my appointment today with my counselor (substance abuse specialist). I was so excited about it, too. We were (very fortunately) able to reschedule for tomorrow. I'm going through nicotine withdrawal right now by accident; I didn't prepare properly for the day. It's funny calling it "withdrawal" after having been through opiate withdrawal. I just got an idea for a new thread...
