I have found that the traditional AA/NA way of life is not completely my cup of tea.I do, however utilize the texts, and the ideals of the 12 steps.I find that what I have chosen with using online support as my main guide in recovery, to be much more benficial in my journey.
Life has really turned around for me and my daughter.I cherish every moment we have. This was the first Christmas holiday that I was truly and genuinely happy. No worries, no fakeness in my smile, just genuine happiness. It feels so good to find this place of peace in my heart and mind.I love God and accept his presence in my miracles.I long to make others more at ease, and to share my joy however possible.I did things for others this year, but I did them without expecting anything in return. That was a big difference for me.It felt great to help someone who truly needed it!
I am so used to reading what I have written in the past, so much sorrow and so much trying to find this place I am now.It will feel nice to look back on this to see I have found the glory in my life finally.!

Hey me too. I liked many of the concepts of OA but there were some things that just weren't for me. I have empowerment today to make the right choices about my food and it feels great. I've no doubt I have an addiction that's never going to go away and just as confident one day at a time, I can get there by staying in touch with my HP and.

i believe that what ever you can use to keep you sober , use it , theres no laws on how to stay sober and everything in aa is just a suggestion. if your happy and sober , thats all that matters as long as your not hurting anyone in the process, ya know , using people etc, than its all good.
