job eval

Evaluation day came unexpectedly yesterday. I knew it was coming, but thought maybe next week or so. I want to write this down--so I don't take it granted and can come back and see it later. I was really worried my boss was going to just nitpick with everything and put some of my faults that I just can't help down and pound around on those. But she didn't -- she gave me a good on everything and excellent marks on a lot. The good ones were because she said she couldn't give me all 100%. At my last position in this same workplace, the boss was a witch and I still don't like her. I guess I had lingerings from that eval (which wasn't really bad but was unfair just cos she could be and used management to excuse herself) My boss now wrote down nice things and also gave me credit for things I've done and just really said nice things to me. We are a small office so she has seen my efforts. This is probably the first time ever I've gotten credit like that. I was quite relieved. She said if there are raises she wanted me to get whatever I could get....unfortunately the company probably won't be offering those this year. Shoot I'm just trying to officially get fulltime. I didn't really think too much about the eval afterwards, I don't know why. I should have been glowing. So just writing this down to remember--I have done a good job with this position and will continue to do so. And finally I did get some credit for it.
