    chrismc,

Welcome to SR. I have been on Sub since February 11. I've been tapering the last several weeks and I am not one for whom the tapering is symptomless. My doctor also insisted that Suboxone if tapered would result in no withdrawal. But, I knew that was inaccurate when I got on them. It upsets me that there are those who seem to have almost tricked into starting Sub therapy. Since my purpose for going on Sub was not primarily to avoid withdrawal, I do not feel upset. What upsets me is that my doctor doesn't allow more than ten to fifteen minutes (usually ten) for an appointment. I am looking for a new doctor to help me with the tapering.

Jimba is one who is tapering at the moment. Tish is also looking to taper. Jane has been posting a lot to Jimba's thread. She is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Thank you for your kind comment on my blog.
