Sat up last night watching America's Funniest Home Videos ...
for want of something OTHER than Dick Clark.

My life is bad enough without HIM, ya know?

New Years' came and went
it almost felt like it happened to someone else.
So today,
I mopped the lady's house
(hardwood floors)
and will do her blinds tomorrow.

She just got a pacemaker
and can't 'do' as much
so I can at least get stuff like that...

THought I'd post this here,

I'm off for the next couple of days,
got a LOT to do and all that.

Didn't want anyone to worry, so am trying to get word put someplace where folks can find it.

I've so needed every ounce of
hope encouragement and support
that I've received here on SR over this nightmare of a Christmas.

I'm quite anzious

I'm terrified...

I heard on a NPR broadcast that
the reason it gets that
soundproof room kind of quiet
when it snows
is because the snowflakes
fracture soundwaves.

I figure that ...
and about a buck and a half
will get you a cup of coffee.

It's DUMPING right now outside.

I love it when it does that.
I love the silence.
The inevidability.

I love to go outside at night when it's like this.
Makes my skin tingle.
The stillness of .. well, everything that can only occur when it's snowing this light, fluffy kind of snow .. is a high to me.

I become hyperaware.
All sound becomes deadened
like a recording studio.
