What I am concerned about today

Posted 04-08-2009 at 06:52 AM by Attyma

...is whether I can sustain it this time. Too many thoughts rolling around to be more specific, but I have quit before. I guess I have to just do the same thing I did with smoking and keep at it if I fail, relapse, fall off the wagon or whatever you want to call it.

Keeping at it today.

Woke up this morning....

Posted 04-07-2009 at 07:09 AM by Attyma

anxious. Actually, I am anxious all the time and depressed. When I drink I'm not anxious and when I'm hungover I'm not anxious because I'm sick and when I'm recovering after I'm sick I'm spacy so I'm not anxious but the minute my body sheds the toxins, I'm anxious again.

Actually, it was a horror show....

Posted 04-06-2009 at 01:54 PM by Attyma

This is the phrase that keeps running around in my head. My drinking friend said it to me when I asked if we left the bar the other night without incident. My ex was there with his 15 years younger wife and a group of people celebrating an art opening his business sponsored. I was in a complete black out and when I tentatively inquired, she wrote back: Actually, it was a horror show.

She is pretty resilient herself, tough, but hold booze way better than I do, so to her hear say that,...
