.....I began a new life. A new life of sobriety. When I told my son I was 30 years sober today he said, "A life of boring?" LOL I could not even be upset he said that as I thought the same thing. When you are young and sobering up sometimes you think life will be boring. That is because you look at sobriety as being a thing you have to do for a lifetime. One Day At A Time is what worked for me. That and A.A. meetings like crazy for the first many years. I stepped back from A.A....
