Any break-up sucks, Tramp, but this sounds like more than the usual fun 'n' games. Hang tight. You'll be in my prayers.

My prayers are with you Tramp as you go through this difficult time. My sponsor always tells me that my "difficulties" are just situations from which I will grow and learn. They only become problems if I drink or use. You can get through this by leaning on your Higher Power, your program and your AA/NA friends! We are all here for you! May you keep peace in your heart!

Hugs and love in the fellowship!!

Blessings,
Kym

Hey Kym, at the risk of sounding like an old scoooter tramp from the 70's (hehehe, which I am!), when's the last time someone said you was righteous? Cuz you are!

suprisingly well. i've never been good at detaching from situations this close to me.
i just plug along and try to believe that doing the right thing will ensure the right out come.
i know, it rarely happens, it's just another attachment to an expectation.
it'll all work out. thank you everybody

Lots of circumstances in life to remind us how bad stuff sucks, but so few circumstances to remind us where we came from unless we specifically put ourselves in a position to seem em. Case in point, goin to meetings to see the crap a newcomer is goin through, or 12 steppin', all these things require action from us. It's no wonder or co-inky-dink that we are told a gillion times that this is a program of action.

Your Bro,

Jimmy

My wife and her co-workers refer to 'em as AFGOs - "Another F-in' Growth Opportunity"!

Seems like whatever those cats recorded was pretty damned good. Your pic for your user name reminded me of that tune.

Heck If I da knowed you would still be awake, I would have called you on the ride home from work to tell ya bout the informal stoplight dragraces I participated in yesterday. Got dusted by an old temporary sponsee on a sick shovel stroker.Course with 96", a Suoer G, and a leyenweir cam that really starts to unwind at 5200 RPM, I never stood a chance anyway. But hey it was tons of fun riding with the real scooter trash for a change instead of all my rubby brothers and sisters.

A bro of mine just finished his bar hopper stroker, it's a tight-assed 100 ci S&S, but I hate those ape-hangers. Never was hep to em. Love the over all sled though, since I was in on the build from the frame up.
