This afternoon I fired up The Princess, and rode her around the neighborhood. First time since my surgery in March! It was just 15 minutes (barely enough to get the fluids warm) but DANG! it felt good!

Not that I'm back in the wind, yet. I'm still in too much pain, and too early in the rehab process, to even think about riding on a regular basis. I just needed to remind myself of what's waiting for me when I do get fit again!

And as good as riding felt, I'll be staying off the Harley for the foreseeable future. Kick-only? Rigid frame? Low-slung saddle? Ix-nay! Ix-nay! Ix-nay!

Plenty of time down the road to decide if I can ever get back on The Bitch, but definitely not now!

been wondering bout my ride, now i got the lower discs rupturing too.
figgers, my first shiney bike and i may not be able to go to the corner and back on it.
oh well.
