| wonder why....
My boss at work got me into streaming music. He uses Winamp and they are demoing some xm stations on there. I happened to notice That I tunes has a radio feature the other night and as I have been impressed with the features of I tunes espcecially the shuffle function (which seems to be intuitive in the way it handles genre's of music), so I checked out some of the radio stations the other night. They have an awesome selection, including old radio comedies, some adult humour stations that replay great comedians ( Well I think Sam Kineson was great). So anyway after browsing the Americana group and stumbling onto some great bluegrass, I found a station called Boot Liquor .. and the discription for this station was "american roots for saddle weary drunkards" For some reason I thought of you guys immediately. lol I gave it a listen and it's the anti top 40 of country.. sort of a counter country if you will... outlaw music. So go ahead check it out. it's a free dl and there are even some stations streaming below 56 k for our stuck on dialup buds. And if anybody comes along and raises an eyebrow at the stuff your listening to, blame it on me. |
