I lost a good friend tonight that has been a great part of my recovery over the years in the program. He was killed on his Bike tonight, I don't know any details yet, I just found several messages on my cell. Please pray for his family, thanks all. |

Though it is a choice we each make when we ride it still hurts when a friend and brother/sister leaves us. Prayers for you and his whole family.

Hi, Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic. My condolences for ur lose. I recall in early sobriety i too lose someone that was instrumental in my recovery. I did go to the wake but not the funeral. I was told way at the beginning something about closeure. Havin had someone that important to u and they r here one day and gone the next is devistation....We are all touched by someone important in our lives. So attending the funeral or wake does help make it easier to begin letting go. My prayers r with u.
