Hmmmmmmm.....in essence, probably could call 'em straight! Why the stereo system though? Don't think you could hear it over the pipes!! Beautiful piece of art though and would love to hear it running!

I'd like to see a cop run his nightstick up those babies! ![]() As for the sound system: I've always thought a stereo on a bike defeated the bike's purpose. I ride to get away from other people's noise and confusion; not carry it with me! :andy:

As far as having a radio on the bike here’s what I find. It adds to the experience. For me music is an expression of self, whether it be CCR, Black Label Society or some good old “Dime Bag” Darrel, Pantera. It aids in plugging me into the experience, when I’m doing 95 with my a$$ on fire the Pantera is thumpin’, when I’m on a leisurely ride enjoying the serenity of the whole experience I may have some BLS in the background. Some times I’m just “in the wind” and enjoying the enhanced calm of the situation. It’s all about what’s going on inside ME. Like I said, music helps me to “express” it. Just my .02 UT

I don't have a stereo, but my MP3 player has an off button as well!!! Sometimes it just feels good to be crusing on my bike, sun shining down on me and Bob Segar mellowing me out!

My FLHTC has a stereo, but I can't hear it above 120 kph. If I'm really in the mood to rock, (or vent off some anger/aggression), I hang my portable CD player on my belt and wear headphones. AC/DC does it for me in that situation. When I'm mellow, some Joni Mitchell or the like helps soothe me. I agree with Tony. Music can enhance my ride, but sometimes I just like to listen to the bark of the pipes. It all depends on what's going on between my earlobes. Sure can't wait to get my ride out, but it is 500 miles away and work keeps interfereing ya know...

Good one Bill. Sorry for the profanity. Trouble is, unless I win a lottery, I'm looking at another 10 years of w...k. LOL. I'm off in the AM for another job interview. Hope the HP wants me to have this one. I'll get to tell other people what to do. (Aren't we good at that!). It will also be about 350 miles south of here. (Spelled longer riding season). Hope to be in the wind soon. How's the back holding up?

Good days and bad, and thanks for askin'. Had a good run for a week or so, but the past few days have been rough. Spoke to my surgeon's assistant, and she said it sounds like normal post-operative pain. All I know is that I'm ready to be done with all this, and back on two wheels! Best of luck with the job interview, and longer riding season. Can't ever have too much ridin' time! |

Any questions gladdly answered. I try to quell the doughters, you know the type. They walk through a group of bikes with a couple guys and tell them whats wrong with everything not factory.

Welcome Glad to have you join us. I can't see the picture now but I do remember it from before. Nice piece of art.
