I have a handful of passes to a preview of The World's Fastest Indian, which is being screened February 1st at a theater here in Austin. The trailer has me droolin', and I'm rounding up as many folks as I can to go enjoy the flick as a group. If any of you are gonna be in Austin that evening, you're invited!

The trailer looks awesome! Can't wait to see it. ...shucks Bill....I think Kentucky and Texas might just be too much of a bike ride that early in the season to catch a flick!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!! Hubby and I will probably gather a group here and see it when it comes nearby here!! Would love to own an Indian one day.......

Looks awesome Gooch. I get my FLHTC up to 160 km/hr on the 401, but then she starts to get a little hinky.

Hinky? lmao thats a word I would never have thought of to describe handling characteristics.. lol

Although when I told the guy at the parts store today that me new ( to me) suv had a "shudder" when it shifted, he asked me if it had the overdrive tranny and if I used a trans fluid with a friction modifier in it, because if I didn't use that sort of trans fluid I should add some "shudder stopper" to the trans.

No chit! he showed me the container with the anti shudder, friction modifier aditive in it.

who knew?

Maybe you should check around for some "No hinky" fork oil?

Good one Gooch. One of sobriety's greatest gifts has been the ability to laugh at myself. Back in the day, I pulled into a club affiliated shop on my 72 mongrel shovel complaining about the forks bottoming out. Turns out that the extended front end didn't have the required 4" fork tubes inside. Took a lot of razzin there. By the way, how do I get rid of a post? No hits on my AA Xmas poem.

No hits? I read it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Just didn't feel the need to reply. The poem said all there was to say!

Hey Rarly...I read and just loved the christmas poem. I just didn't comment because the poem said all there was to say. I imagine, as BillJ said, that lots of people have read it but just didn't reply.

By the way....it's 53 here in Kentucky right now and I'm riding to my meeting tonight. Will be cold as a landlord's heart tonight, but that's okay with me!

I see the support is here, the same as in F2F meetings. I'm in the right place.
