it is a good read indeed. duh on me for not noticing the screwy address. don't tell any one but i don't have any oil filter at all. shhhhhhh. i have serious doubts about the newer filters and 50 wght. one day when i do add one it will be old tech. i don't want to gamble losing what little oil pressure i have to an over efficient filter. but for you guys runnig multi weight the pure looks like a good deal. i think that for me the washable looks good, or a pre filter and cheap spin on. i have been known to run 80wght when things get tired. |

When my shovel was really getting tired before the rebuild I ran some gear oil in it.. lol the guy who rebuilt it for me asked me if I had to start a fire under it to get it to spin over. lol I've been a Fram filter guy for years on the 4 wheelers, but I might just have to reconsider on the shovel. I get my filters for the dyna from my bud around the corner. They are a midwest item, but who knows who manufactures them? |
