| So, how's YOUR weather?
Rode my Harley today - first time in several weeks - and it was perfect!!! Mid 50's this morning, and mid 70s this afternoon. Chaps in the morning, and open jacket in the afternoon. Bike started second kick this morning, and first kick this afternoon. Even the traffic jam on the Interstate couldn't bring me down! :chopper God, it's great to be a clean and sober biker!

You ask such a question on a week that I have not had any ride time at all? Rain all week or temps near 32 for the ride into work. It happens to be snowing at this very moment in Boston. Now just for asking, you will need go out and take another ride..because I can't. *LOL*

Ridin' for ya, best. Central Florida is perrrrfect. 75 degrees and somewhat breezy today, and put 180 miles on the bike. Visited the Bok Sanctuary in Lake Wales...It was beautiful, lots of back roads and bikers abound. Great day. Will be thinking of you tomorrow too...taking another short day trip. Where? Don't know yet...

Pulled the mashed wheel off my bike today and swapped the rotors over to the mint take off I picked up. butterfingered my fender and whether it happened then or before I noticed a nickle sized dimple right in the middle of it. Gotthe wheel back on the bike and must be the rotor got bumped by the semi tire as well, as it has a 1/4" of run out in it now. seeemd to spin around all right so I found another bolt for the footpeg that got knocked off and remounted that. About 47 degrees so i had to check that new rim for balance.. after a couple passes down and back by the house and only noticing a littel caliper shimmy, I ran it up to 65, twisted the throttle lock down and let go the bars for a 1/2 mile. back in the garage I checked the rotor and there was a little heat residual on that side, so I am looking for a set of rotors....figure I may as well wait til I have the cash to do the pads as well. Short ride but it was a ride just the same. |

Snow yesterday, 60 degrees today. Morning ride was like a spring day. Will be going back out for another in a bit. Next 2 days are said to be the same. I should get in a day or two after all.

Yep, had to do it again, for all those who can't ride! ![]() Took The Princess to my regular Sunday morning meeting. Had some time to kill before another appointment, so I bombed around East Austin for a while, sight-seeing old neighborhoods I haven't been in in years. Partly cloudy and breezy, but still felt wonderful!

The weather in Kentucky is beautiful! Yesterday it was 65 and sunny so I took my PC (Honda Pacific Coast) for about a 200 mile ride and then dropped her off for some new treads. The trees are turning and riding through the mountains is just breath-taking!!! It's still gorgeous here...54 and sunny at 9:00 a.m.

At 88 degrees, we broke the previous record high temp for November 5th - 87 degrees, set back in 1963. Breezy, but beautiful. Today looks like more of the same. Probably won't be riding, though. Chris, get out there and enjoy it for me, wouldja?

I did 100 miles up to Buffalo in my vest. Had to break outa sweatshirt after dark. Rode home this noon on the trailing edge of one storm front trying to stay ahead of the one following. Broke out my chaps for that. |

55 degrees when I left the house. Meeting over and now 9:30... should I go home and get the cage or just go straight to work? I left the sweater at home. Was a cold 15 miles. The temp dropped like a rock it seemed. Felt like 35 degrees. Well I will get home 30 minutes earlier in the AM. Bikes can ride the car pool lane *grin*

Our big whoopin' "cold front" moved in last night. Today will be 80 degrees, rather than 88. Whoo-hoo! Break out the longjohns and mukluks!

One handed driving, as I would place my hand on the engine head so I would have warm fingers.
