Iron Horse

only had a minute to grab pics and chat with the owner as she was waxing and polishing for the judges who were making their way toward her ride. The bike is a memorial to her dad, 9/11, and favorite steed. Molding was done in Cape Cod.

I think I see the headlight, but where are the brake lights?

Are the horse shoes the brake lights?

WooW nice One...

Ain't got no picture of my Iron horses...
That all been stolen or sold..
they're all two legs power (2LP)
But I always made a kind of artwork
out of them...With...paint... plastic... words and so on...

:lame: That's about the stupidest looking thing I have ever seen.
It's worse than an OCC tribute to Lego's bike.

OH come on Hurricane, tell us what you really think!

Its not my style either, but I think it looks like it was well done. I am more into the custom choppers, I know how trendy!

Peace

That horsey ride ain't my idea of style, neither, but you gotta give the builder props for effort. Kinda like low-rider cars. I wouldn't want to own one, but I appreciate the hard work and detail the vatos put in to building 'em.

lol ... easier to sit behind the keyboard and take a shot than to walk up to the owner or builder in person.

I like low riders, not the "vato" ones, but chopped and lowered look sharp!

This to me looks good

The vato ones look stupid, who would want a car with bicycle tires on it, I never could get that. They ruined the 64-68 Impala....

This to me look hideous... I can appreciate the craftsmanship that went into building it but over my dead body will you see me in it.

And this one looks like it was in an accident, the went way over on the hydraulics, ya think?

Very true, but If I was asked for an honest opinion, I would give it to them.

fair enough ...

dude I know has a late 60's Triumph hardtail, tail dragger rear fender, nice peanut tank, last 70's wide glide and drag bars. Bike looks cherry to me that way. He's gonna tear it down and put a coffin tank and a girder on it. I told him it pretty good to me the way it sits. He didn't ask me what I thought of what he's doing to it, and I didn't volunteer it. It's his and he did me a favor tonight.. sold me the 19" front rim he was gonna use on it complete with a nearly new dunlop.

I might be riding by Saturday..... wonder what would have happned if I told him he's gonna rat out a nice looking scoot? lol .....

Guy came into the shop a month or so back with a bone-stock '75 FLH - original paint and everything - that he got off Craig's List for $6000. I tried to tell him what a score he'd made, but he couldn't hear me. Right away he slaps on apehangers and straight pipes, and bomb-cans over the factory paint.

Of course, I did damned near the same thing with my first Harley! :chopper

My big brother says "There's only so much you can do, to overcome someone else's stupidity, before you cross the line yourself." He teaches mountain climbing and survival courses, so he speaks from harsh experience!
